This time the "fathers" of the series, ie the Infinity Ward studio, which for the first time could work on the game for three years (hundreds of parts from this team appeared at two-year intervals). The differences between the various editions are mainly related to the graphics, which look best on personal computers. The title was revealed on May 2, 2016 with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, and it quickly got loud. Interestingly, many players expressed their dissatisfaction with the brand's direction, making its trailer the worst-rated production trailer on YouTube. The action of the production takes place in a completely new universe, with previously unseen characters. Individual countries on Earth have formed the United Nations Space Alliance to jointly set out to conquer the solar system. Unfortunately, as it usually happens, some people are against international cooperation and it was from them that the Settlement Defense Front organization was formed, which started a great war with UNSA. Players take on the role of Captain Reyes - a Tier 1 Special Operations pilot, who took command of the powerful Retribution warship and, together with his crew, must stop the SDF forces. The new universe is not the only major change introduced in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, as the gameplay itself has also received various novelties. Of course, we are still dealing with an effective first-person shooter, but this time, players not only run and shoot on the ground, but also sit at the helm of Jackal fighters, participating in fierce sky battles. On the other hand, the Retribution warship is a kind of base from which we choose the next story missions, or set off on raids against enemy machines. Importantly, the production was designed in such a way that, throughout the game, players smoothly move from one element of the game to another, without too frequent loading screens. In the next stages, he returns to the missions in which Mason took part, controlling himself or other people from his squad. It is worth noting that Wiktor Reznow, one of the main characters of Call of Duty: World at War, plays an important role in the new game. In Black Ops, as in the previous parts of the series, you travel all over the world, visiting Vietnam and the Ural Mountains, among others. Black Ops is primarily a one-man campaign consisting of extremely spectacular missions that put players in extremely unusual situations. In one of the tasks, we pilot the Hind helicopter and eliminate enemy posts in the jungle, and in another we are on a Lockheed SR-71 scout plane, from which we support ground units (informing them about the enemy's positions). The missions are based on scripts, so they are linear, although on the other hand, they guarantee an amazing experience. In most of them, we focus only on shooting, although some of them also allow you to sneak and fight from hiding. Gameplay The gameplay itself has not changed significantly, although there are some new weapons in the game, more suited to the era and the realities of the Cold War. Players can shoot with a crossbow with an optical sight, for which several types of ammunition (including explosives) have been prepared. Among other new weapons there are also powerful Dragon's Breath missiles for shotguns. As usual, we meet a lot of opponents - this time they are a bit more intelligent. It is worth adding that the creators used a system of hits on various points of the body (a similar solution was used in World at War). Multiplayer An important element of the next installment of the popular shooter is, of course, the multiplayer mode, in which vehicles (known from World at War) reappear. The basis of the game is a system of perks (skills) and various weapons, which allows you to create your own class and unique soldier. Killstreaks (kills in a row) also return in the game, although they now have different rules (their number is carried over after the character dies). It is worth adding that in the PC version of the production, support for dedicated servers has been restored (it was missing in Modern Warfare 2).
