The story presented in the production is extremely simple and is based on the well-known pattern of bloodthirsty zombie invasions. In this edition, the role of the protagonist is played for the third time by Frank West - a photojournalist known from the first installment of Dead Rising and the Dead Rising 2: Case West expansion . Gameplay The new part introduces some unexpected changes. First of all, it's about the main character who suddenly appears in Fortune City, a metropolis overrun by the undead. The sensationalist photojournalist, armed with his camera, lands in the city well-known to players from Dead Rising 2 . It will also be necessary to deal with a mysterious sect led by the charismatic Osmund Saddler. Gameplay The gameplay in RE4: Ultimate HD Edition remains almost identical in comparison to the original game. The action is presented from The Third Person Perspective (TPP) and the game is an example of a survival-horror genre. During the gameplay, players explore numerous locations, occasionally solve environmental puzzles, and of course, fight dangerous enemies. This time, combat is the most essential element of the game. The protagonist can use a variety of different weapons such as pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, or even grenade launchers or crossbows with exploding ammo. In addition to that, from time to time players will have to complete spectacular QTE sequences (Quick Time Events), during which they will have to press the right button at the right time.   Reception The game gathered mostly favorable reviews. Full of combat and fast-paced action gameplay attracted a lot of fans.
