Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter is a refreshed version of the popular shooter that premiered at the beginning of 2001. The creators from the Croatian studio Croteam focused primarily on improving the visual setting. The game was released as part of digital distribution. Story The plot of the refreshed version of the former hit takes place in the distant future, when the level of advancement of technology allowed people to carry out interstellar travel and space exploration. Unfortunately, during one of these flights, people encounter a great evil that has been visiting distant planets for centuries and annihilating entire civilizations. This time it is time for Earth. The best Special Forces soldier, Sam "Serious" Stone, is sent back to ancient Egypt to change the fate of mankind. Gameplay Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter is an almost perfect port of a well-known and liked item released in 2001 in the version for personal computers (a year later converted to the first Xbox). The difference is that the whole thing was developed on the basis of the Serious Engine 3 engine, created for the third part of Sam's adventures. This fact provides a completely new visual experience - mainly due to the high resolution gameplay. Fans of multiplayer gameplay should, in turn, be interested in the online cooperation option, in which you can fight together with hordes of opponents. The mode, which most modern action games cannot do, can be tested on a dozen or so complex levels filled with bloody and exhausting battles.
