The wall light draws on some of the most classic characteristics of the Gothic style, namely the sharp, pointed, angular design. Something that is clearly visible in Bent Karlby's GOTHIC wall lamp. Apart from this, there is very little information about Bent Karlby's inspiration for this otherwise different wall lamp.
