Story In 3025, the galaxy is devastated by the relentless conflict between the aristocratic families that govern entire planets and even sectors of the cosmos. Gameplay The gameplay in BattleTech can be divided into two parts. The first is turn-based clashes, during which we control our pilots and use their machines , weapons, special skills and varied terrain to outsmart the enemy. We most often observe the battlefield from an isometric perspective, but while performing attacks and movements, the camera changes its position (similar to e.g. in the XCOM cycle ). However, for better readability of the battlefield, the tracking options can be turned off, focusing only on the overall view of the battlefield. Managing mercenaries and combat machines and commissioning missions takes place in real time , similar to the above-mentioned series of Firaxis studio.
