Hearts of Iron IV: Cadet Edition is the next installment of a series of popular strategy games in which players direct the policy of one of the countries of the interwar period and World War II - the years 1936–1948 are considered to be the chronological borders of the era. It is up to us to choose a strategy, military development and decisions about alliances or war. The Swedish studio Paradox Development, known for its complex historical strategy games, is responsible for the production. The company based in Stockholm has produced and published, among others the Europa Universalis series or the Crusader Kings series referring to it in many respects, and the Hearts of Iron series.
