Story
The action of the game is set in a world that combines elements of medieval Japan with the fantasy style and mythology of the Land of the Rising Sun. For this reason, the heroes - although they refer to history and have a typical, historical weapon - were additionally endowed with extraordinary special skills. The plot of The Last Blade 2 revolves around two opposing worlds - the world of the living and the dead - and an attempt to close the portal that connects them . The presented story takes place a year after the events of The Last Blade and continues directly the threads started in the first installment of the series in 1997.
Gameplay
The gameplay mechanics of The Last Blade 2 do not differ much from the first installment of the series and other popular fights from that period - with Street Fighter himself at the forefront. So here we have a fairly typical set of attacks and kicks, the ability to control and perform grips, and special skills available after recharging the energy bar. The main difference comes down to the possibility of using a variety of weapons, such as swords, katanas or lances, and the option to choose your preferred fighting style . Each of the nearly twenty warriors can fight in one of three different modes. Speed mode allows you to land much faster but weaker blows and combine them into complex combos. In the Power mode, we hit slower but with much more force, and combos usually end up with 3-4 hits. A combination of both of these extremes is the new EX mode, absent in the first game.
