Dimensity is a fantasy game that combines elements of real-time strategy and RPG. The production is the debut title of the Bulgarian development studio Dagger Games. The action is set in a classic fantasy world torn by war between humans and a cruel race of creatures called triends. As a human, we play the role of a young hunter who stumbles upon the dying king of the Empire. Obeying his orders, he sets out on a long and dangerous journey to the capital, where, thanks to his merits, he is honored to become a knight, and eventually even a general of the entire army. In turn, playing on the opposite side, we become the leader of the triends, whose task is to unite the scattered armies and repel the attack of human invaders from his homeland. The two stories follow their own course, but eventually they come together in a surprising finale.At the beginning of the game, we choose a hero who can belong to one of the four playable races. Next, we decide whether we want to be a great warrior with various types of weapons or a magician specializing in one of the two secret disciplines specific to a given race. Choosing a character focused on spells has many consequences. Among other things, we cannot use most types of weapons or wear armor.The gameplay consists of several aspects. First of all, as in every RPG game, we deal with completing tasks, collecting items, promoting our character, as well as fighting powerful opponents. Second, as the leader, who is the hero in Dimensity, we build a base, raise money, and build infrastructure. Finally, thirdly, once we gather an army, we can lead it into battle with numerous enemy units. When creating the game, the authors paid a lot of attention to the possibilities of the hero's specialization. Thanks to the right selection of items, spells and skills, we can create a leader whose way of acting best suits our preferences.What distinguishes Dimensity from other productions of this type is the fact that the experience and items gained by our hero during the game in multiplayer mode remain with him after its end. Consequently, thanks to the online mode, we can raise the level of our character. However, to make it not so easy, the creators introduced a rule that allows only the winner to keep the acquired equipment and experience.
