Clinically Dead is a first-person puzzle game with platformer and arcade elements, maintained in a disturbing, surreal atmosphere. This is the second (after Grimind) work of a Pole - Paweł Mogiła, released under the Mogila Games studio banner.The protagonist of Clinically Dead is a certain Mr. Samson, who is just dying. The adventure takes place in the last seconds of his life - the state of the eponymous clinical death makes time stand still from the protagonist's perspective, which allows him to rethink and retrace his entire life. In the game, this takes the form of wandering through an abstract environment, symbolizing the inside of Samson's mind, and conversations with the protagonist's subconscious.The dominant element in the gameplay in Clinically Dead is solving logical puzzles that focus on manipulating time. The player perceives the world in four dimensions - the fourth is time, represented by multi-colored stains on the walls and the ground. The goal is to manipulate the environment in such a way that the individual objects fit into the right "moments", allowing the protagonist to get out of the chamber and continue his journey.However, the attractions prepared by the developer do not end there. Sometimes the game also requires the player to jump on platforms and face opponents. The latter can be dealt with by sneaking past them or fighting them. It's also worth mentioning that Clinically Dead doesn't have a linear design. The creator drew a pattern from the metroidvania genre, designing the levels in such a way that they were connected with each other by many paths.
