Rise of the Triad puts emphasis on unrestricted destruction and the fun is mainly about murdering hordes of enemies. The primary weapon is the MP 40 submachine gun with endless ammunition. There were also more crazy killing tools, such as excalibat, a baseball bat equipped with a magic eye that can send a series of exploding balls towards enemies. The drunk rocket launcher, on the other hand, fires a flock of missiles with completely unpredictable flight paths. We also use a number of ingenious traps in combat. Rise of the Triad is even more brutal than the original. Enemies are literally torn to shreds - after a correct hit, their arms and legs fall apart, and their heads roll joyfully on the floors. Throughout all this, the heroes regularly regale us with funny texts. In total, the game offers 20 single-player levels and each of them is full of secrets waiting to be discovered. Rise of the Triad also features multiplayer options. Three game modes return in it: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag. The last of them had to appear in the remake, because Rise of the Triad from the 90s was the first shooter with this form of fun on the Internet.
