The game boasts a quite extensive combat system. Each character has its own number of action points that determine what actions, including attack and movement, can be performed. For example, we can fire a pistol twice in one turn. The rifle, on the other hand, requires reloading, so you can only pull the trigger once. We can improve accuracy by aiming for longer, which costs more points than shooting from the hip, but also gives you a better chance of hitting. The shield system plays a key role in reducing the risk of injury. We can also set ambushes for enemies. If, at the end of the turn, the heroes still have action points in reserve, then when one of the enemies is on the line of fire during the enemy's turn, our units will attack him automatically. In relation to the FSX, not only the simulation of individual systems and aircraft flight models has been improved, but also the variability of air masses near mountains or tall buildings has been mapped. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 also introduces such an important novelty as realistic longitudinal slope of runways and various types of surfaces. The game offers special tutorials that guide you step by step through the take-off procedures of individual planes and the subsequent stages of the flight. The degree of realism can be adjusted according to the user's experience. At lower difficulty settings, the plane can be fully controlled from the outside view, with all key flight parameters - these are displayed in the corners of the screen through a simplified interface. The simulator has also been enriched with multi-layer, volumetric clouds, and data on weather conditions is downloaded from the network on an ongoing basis. The game has an impressive graphic design. The machines have been recreated down to the smallest detail, and the locations are dripping with details thanks to the use of photogrammetry and satellite photos taken for the Bing Maps service in their creation. Such solutions have their limitations, which is usually affected by the detail of the map, which is why some of the known airports and objects were modeled by hand. While controlling the murderer, we observe the action from the first-person perspective. The studio responsible for the game - Treyarch - has prepared several previous parts of the brand (Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty: World at War). The next installment of the series departs from both the first Call of Duty and the newer Modern Warfare climates, taking players to the Cold War era. Singleplayer The entire single-player campaign was presented in the form of an interrogation of Alex Mason, a well-trained commando for the CIA who is being held by unidentified persons. In the next stages, he returns to the missions in which Mason took part, controlling himself or other people from his squad. It is worth noting that Wiktor Reznow, one of the main characters of Call of Duty: World at War, plays an important role in the new game. In Black Ops, as in the previous parts of the series, you travel all over the world, visiting Vietnam and the Ural Mountains, among others. Black Ops is primarily a one-man campaign consisting of extremely spectacular missions that put players in extremely unusual situations. In one of the tasks, we pilot the Hind helicopter and eliminate enemy posts in the jungle, and in another we are on a Lockheed SR-71 scout plane, from which we support ground units (informing them about the enemy's positions). The missions are based on scripts, so they are linear, although on the other hand, they guarantee an amazing experience. In most of them, we focus only on shooting, although some of them also allow you to sneak and fight from hiding. Gameplay The gameplay itself has not changed significantly, although there are some new weapons in the game, more suited to the era and the realities of the Cold War. Players can shoot with a crossbow with an optical sight, for which several types of ammunition (including explosives) have been prepared. Among other new weapons there are also powerful Dragon's Breath missiles for shotguns. As usual, we meet a lot of opponents - this time they are a bit more intelligent. It is worth adding that the creators used a system of hits on various points of the body (a similar solution was used in World at War). Multiplayer An important element of the next installment of the popular shooter is, of course, the multiplayer mode, in which vehicles (known from World at War) reappear. The basis of the game is a system of perks (skills) and various weapons, which allows you to create your own class and unique soldier. Killstreaks (kills in a row) also return in the game, although they now have different rules (their number is carried over after the character dies). It is worth adding that in the PC version of the production, support for dedicated servers has been restored (it was missing in Modern Warfare 2).
