The mirror is built around an iron frame, which makes it possible to hang it both horizontally and vertically. Fits incredibly well in the entrance hall, so you can catch a last glimpse of yourself before you slip out the door, or perhaps in the bathroom, where you can possibly hang it horizontally to get a wide mirror. The possibilities are many.
