Gubi Vanity 3 Mirror American Walnut
Design: GamFratesi for Gubi Concept: With inspiration from the beautiful make-up mirrors from the 18th century, Gubi and GamFratesi have created the Vanity Mirror collection. The name and design is a tribute to the past, when mirrors often consisted of three adjustable panels connected by hinges, allowing different viewing angles. GamFratesi has here given the classic hinge a modern interpretation, and the result is a contemporary design series with a subtle anchoring in history. The Vanity Mirror collection is an example of GamFratesi's ability to combine artisanal precision and technical skill in even the simplest forms. With three variants that include one, two or three mirror panels, the Vanity Mirror collection offers versatility and combines function with the beauty of the decorative. The collection has been created to fit into all rooms of the home, even where mirrors would not normally be part of the decor. The mirrors add a clean and modern elegance to any room.
GUBI (Vanity Wall Mirror, 3)
A contemporary echo of the 18th-century vanity-table mirror that gives it its name, the Vanity Mirror Collection is GamFratesi’s second wall-mounted mirror design for GUBI. The collection comprises three variations – with one, two and three mirror panels, respectively. The design’s defining features are its warm walnut veneer and brass hinges. These allow the angle of the mirror to be adjusted, influencing the perspective it offers and the play of the light in the room. On the single-panel Vanity Mirror 1, the hinges permit a 15o rotation, whereas the 180o hinges on the Vanity Mirror 2 and Vanity Mirror 3 allow the panels to fold flat on top of one another, covering the mirror when not in use.
