The Ibanez EHB1265MS-NML's headless construction and specially designed body allow the player to maintain a similar playing position whether seated or standing. The upper half of the back of the body is angled, allowing the bass to rest slightly closer to the player's body for better control and a more ergonomic feel. Its streamlined, ergonomic design and chambered body make it a lightweight, well-balanced and comfortable instrument, excellent for long sets or training sessions. The roasted maple in the neck is heat treated to increase stability, durability, moisture resistance and tolerance to temperature changes. Bartolini® BH2 pickups deliver tight lows, punchy mids, and a smooth response. The dual coil style setup maximizes articulation and a long pole piece widens the magnetic field, providing a balanced string-to-string pickup response. The Vari-mid 3-band EQ features variable mid-frequency control that lets you dial in an incredibly wide range of tones. There is also an EQ bypass switch for passive operation, with the treble control acting as a passive tone control when the EQ is bypassed. The MR5HS bridge is specially designed for EHB basses and offers a wide range of intonations. Each bridge piece is independently and securely attached to the body for maximum vibration transfer, and the saddles are adjustable for +/- 1.5mm string spacing, meeting each bassist's individual string spacing demands , regardless of your playing style. Teflon washers are used on each tuner for smooth tuning action. A removable finger ramp is included for a comfortable finger grip.
