How to Use the MAVI STEP Quiet Duet Shoe Cleaning and Waterproofing Kit With a MAVI Step Alexandra Brush, clean the item from dust and dried dirt. Use MAVI STEP Total Cleaner to clean smooth leather from deep dirt and stains, and to clean suede, nubuck, and velour, use MAVI STEP Vel Vel. If necessary, treat the shoes with a nourishing and regenerating agent. For example, if you are going to use a water-repellent impregnation to protect smooth leather, treat it with MAVI STEP Creme de Beaute Shoe Cream. To nourish and restore suede, nubuck, and velour, before applying a water-repellent impregnation, we recommend treating the item with MAVI STEP Multi Oil Balm or MAVI STEP Nubuck & Suede Spray. Shake the water-repellent bottle vigorously and test it on a hidden area of the item. Treat shoes, clothes, or bags from a distance of 20–25 centimetres, holding the bottle upright. Wait for the item to dry completely. For maximum protective effect, we recommend that you do not use the treated item within 2 hours after applying the impregnation.
