The tweeters benefit from a highly damped silk dome acoustic diaphragm to smoothly extend the frequency range up to 40kHz. For maximum transient response and dynamic reproduction, the bi-amplified Class D power amplifiers drive the transducers evenly and more efficiently at reduced operating temperatures to ensure audio integrity during long working sessions. The Rokit Generation Five's silk dome tweeters produce a smooth, natural tone in the high frequencies. Silk, as an acoustic material, has a relatively low resonant frequency, resulting in a smoother and linear response over a wider range of frequencies. This allows for very precise audio reproduction, with minimal distortion or harshness.
