Den stribede danmarkshistorie er samtidig et strejftog gennem Matas’ mange varer, der spænder fra citronsyre over high end kosmetik og helseprodukter til sexlegetøj. I dag er Matas Danmarks største detailkæde og har en medlemsklub, der tæller mere end 1,8 millioner danskere. 99% af alle danske kvinder har kendskab til kædens varer. Bogen er rigt illustreret med farverige reklamer, plakater, tegninger og fotos fra danmarkshistorien fra 1940'erne og frem til i dag. Bogen udgives i efteråret 2024 i forbindelse med Matas' 75-årsjubilæum.
