Silent Gliss 5100R - Autoglide Electric Track - Radio Remote Operation The Silent Gliss 5100 Autoglide Handheld Remote operation is an electric curtain track which in addition to a switch has a handheld transmitter which can be used to open and close the curtains. The transmitter sends a signal to the motor, which has an integrated receiver, telling it to open or close the curtains. Radio control is superior to infra-red as the infra-red signal must be pointed in the direction of the receiver and the receiver must be on display. Radio signals can travel further than infra-red so the radio remote can operate the tracks from further away. The Autoglide Electric Curtain Rail can carry up to 25kg of curtaining and can be bent for bay windows. The 5100 Autoglide Curtain Rail has a "touch and go" operation which will automatically take over the opening and closing of the curtains when they are pulled by hand. In addition to this, the Autoglide also has a manual override, in the event of a power failure the curtains can be easily operated by hand without the need for any alteration and has 10 gliders per metre. Note: The 60mm wave heading is only suitable with split draw curtain stack. This product cannot be cut down.
