Stentøjsserien Ildpot var i 1970’erne et nybrud inden for den danske husholdning. Kvinderne var kommet ud på arbejdsmarkedet, hvilket satte nye krav til madlavning og servering. Med Ildpot kunne stellet gå direkte fra fryseren, ind i ovnen og videre hen på middagsbordet. Derved blev aftensmåltidet både let og overskueligt. FDB har relanceret denne ikoniske stentøjsserie, der blev tegnet af den anerkendte designer Grethe Meyer (1918-2008), som hørte til blandt den danske designelite og som havde et livslangt arbejdssamarbejde med møbelarkitekten Børge Mogensen. For Grethe Meyer var det afgørende, at Ildpot var et funktionelt stel. Derfor undersøgte hun nøje, hvordan de mange forskellige skåle og fade skulle udformes for at udnytte pladsen i forbrugerens ovn og skabe. Hun gennemprøvede alle delene i sit eget køkken og sikrede derved, at de var funktionsdygtige og pladsbesparende. Ildpot kan desuden gå i opvaskemaskinen, i mikrobølgeovnen og sættes på et gaskomfur. Ikke egnet til bål.
