No More Heroes es un juego de acción en tercera persona dinámico en el que interpretamos el papel de un friki que se ha convertido en un asesino profesional. La producción es otra obra de talentosos desarrolladores japoneses del estudio Grasshopper Manufacture, también responsables del interesante diseño llamado killer 7. El personaje principal de No More Heroes es un tal Travis Touchdown, el llamado otaku (para decirlo de manera simple, es una palabra japonesa para friki extremo) quien, después de ordenar una katana de energía (beam katana) en una subasta en línea, decide convertirse en un asesino profesional. El protagonista intenta construir gradualmente su posición en la lista de los asesinos más prestigiosos, principalmente eliminando rivales. En No More Heroes, observamos la acción desde una perspectiva en tercera persona. El juego se reduce a explorar la ciudad llamada Santa Destroy, luchar contra enemigos y realizar varios tipos de tareas. El jugador se mueve por el mundo abierto a pie o en una motocicleta llamada Schpeltiger. El arma principal del protagonista es una espada energética que se asemeja a los sables de luz del universo de Star Wars. También podemos realizar ataques tomados directamente de la lucha libre (el héroe es fanático de esta forma de entretenimiento) y usar el poderoso lado oscuro, que es otra referencia a Star Wars (es un trance especial que te permite realizar ejecuciones espectaculares en los enemigos). Cabe destacar que Travis también tiene una base en forma de habitación de motel, donde puede descansar y cambiarse de ropa. El juego cuenta con una extensa colección de camisetas para el protagonista, con más de cien diseños (por supuesto, la mayoría se desbloquean a medida que avanzas en el juego). Características principales ¡Quema rueda por la ciudad costera de Santa Destroy en la motocicleta de Travis, la Schpeltiger! Desbloquea un devastador arsenal de movimientos de lucha libre, desde Power Bombs hasta Brain Busters. ¡Desata el poderoso Lado Oscuro para derribar a la competencia y mostrar quién manda!
