With its playful and minimalist design, Chub stands out for its solid quality, inspired by the durable wooden interior objects from the designer's childhood in the 1970s. Chub is made from FSC-certified ash and has four strong feet in each corner, giving a monolithic expression. The elegantly curved bowl at the top adds both decorative and functional value, and the design works as both an artistic statement and a practical bowl. The idea was to create something that lies between a podium and a bowl – sculptural enough to be the centerpiece, but simple enough to let the contents shine.
