Le Silk Stab est une aile arrière de foil de la marque AFS. AFS Silk Stab AFS lance sa gamme 100% Wave Riding Made In France. Laurent Borgna est un designer, connu pour son modèle de foil à bosse inspiré du biomimétisme de la baleine. Il a rejoint l'équipe AFS en 2023 avec comme premier projet de développer une gamme spécifique de foil pour la pratique du wave riding. Gamme Silk Le foil ultime de wave riding. La forme générale du foil offre l'équilibre optimal entre glide, maniabilité et contrôle. Travaillez la moindre onde avec une précision chirurgicale et remontez en pumping au pic sans effort. Smooth As Silk Énormément d'attention a été apportée à l'onctuosité de la transition entre les appuis back side et front side. Le flow ultime que ce soit dans les carving les plus appuyés comme dans les conduites plus coulées. L'utilisation de bumps combinée aux winglets apporte de la stabilité et contrôle même dans les environnements les plus perturbés(mousse, foam climb, floater…). Vous pouvez carver en sortant les tips de l'aile en gardant tout le contrôle. Une aile avec bumps a surface et profil égal, sans force génératrice, commence à voler plus tôt qu'une aile sans bump. Adaptive Design Aspect ratio, flèche, dièdre et longueur de fuselage ont été développés spécifiquement pour chaque taille d'aile avant. Nous avons fait le choix d'apporter plus de stabilité en tangage et de contrôle à haute vitesse sur nos ailes de petites surfaces en allongeant le fuselage. De la même façon, un stabilisateur a été développé pour chaque aile avant afin d'avoir un réglage équilibré. C'est aile arrière est uniquement compatible avec la gamme Silk.
