About the Author
Julie Collins studied Fine Art at the University of Reading, becoming an artist, writer & teacher.
An associate Member of the Society of Women Artists, Julie has enjoyed a prominent career, winning numerous prestigious awards for her watercolour paintings, including 1st Prize for Watercolour at the Royal West of England Academy Annual Exhibition.
When Julie isn't exploring painting, drawing and crafts at her studio in Hampshire, she's writing for The Artist magazine & producing incredibly successful colour mixing guides and artists' problem-solving books. These include 3 Colour Mixing Guides (selling over 3.75k copies overall) & "Colour Demystified" in 2021 (selling 6850 copies to date).
