The most delicious wide elastic for DIY90 mm! Anything less won't do. This elastic is just awesome. It's the kind you use when the elastic is part of your design - when you want the elastic to be seen and create an effect! The elastic is made of polyester and rubber; it has a good firm elasticity that lasts. Here's where you can use the elastic bandWe love it in the waistband of gorgeous skirts - from pencil skirts to sundresses - the elastic just adds a lovely effect at the waist and is comfortable at the same time. You can rest assured that your skirt will stay right where it's supposed to, no matter how wild you dance. We've also grown quite fond of it in yoga trousers; the wide waistband is really comfortable and ensures that the trousers fit well without being tight. In general, we can just say: Use the elastic on projects where you want a wide visible elastic edge - whether it's on a cool skirt or a pair of cool baggy trousers - it's entirely up to you and your imagination. The elastic can be washed at 40° and must not be tumble dried.

Light, colourful and a beautiful drape! Viscose is a popular fabric for many fashion designs. It's a light and soft material with good breathability, while also being comfortable to wear.  The beautiful drape is especially pronounced in tops, dresses, and shirts, where even with the simplest designs, you achieve a stylish look. The design is up to you: Does the shirt need a small collar? The top a boat neck? Or are you into ruched details?  That being said, viscose is also well-suited for light trousers. We prefer them with a bit of width in the legs, so you once again benefit from the lovely drape.  Choose from many stunning colours.  What is viscose? Viscose has been used for clothing for over 100 years. The fabric consists of processed and regenerated cellulose, for example from wood pulp or cotton waste. Wash at 40°C, iron at medium heat, and allow to air dry. Expect 5% shrinkage after washing.  Remember to use the right needles – we recommend using a universal needle or a microtex needle in size 70.

Beautiful textured satinThe glossy satin is classic and elegant for festive occasions - with this version you get the classic satin with a fine texture that adds that little something extra to your design. You can zoom in on the pictures to get a better idea of the beautiful surface. Beautiful creations in satinUse satin for shirts, dresses, skirts and trouser suits - it's super elegant and drapes beautifully over the body. Be aware that the fine texture also means that you should iron the material at low heat. Also, avoid using steam as it causes the texture to change shape. Practical information about this satin This satin is made from 100% polyester and comes in several beautiful colours. You buy it by the metre, so you get exactly the length you need for your projects.The fabric is 140 cm wide and shrinks about 1% in the wash. Wash at 40° - hang dry and iron on low heat. TIP: As satin has a very smooth surface, it slides easily. Therefore, we recommend that you always cut in one layer at a time and use good quality, sharp fabric scissors. Search "9 tips for sewing with satin" for more tips. What is satin? Satin refers to the way the fabric is woven, where one side of the material is smooth and shiny. For this satin you will need microtex needles.

And the colour – you decide that. Find one that almost matches your project, choose one that provides a subtle shade difference, or go all in on contrast and select one (or several!) that stands out and catches the eye. Let the bias tapes serve as beautiful details and elegant finishes on edges and cutouts.     Worth Knowing About Bias Tapes  Bias tapes have the (almost) magical ability to adapt to many fabrics. As the name suggests, they're cut on the bias and therefore naturally follow your curves, necklines, corners, and edges. This provides a beautiful finish.     How to Sew Bias Tape  Bias tapes are for sewing on curves, corners, and straight stretches. When you sew the bias tape onto your project, you sew with straight stitches at about a 2.5 cm stitch length. While sewing, don't pull or stretch it. Let it align perfectly along the edge, ensuring a neat result.     TIP  When you start sewing your bias tape, fold about 2 cm in, so it's double-layered. When finishing, tuck the other end's fold over your folded start. The same principle applies when extending a bias tape.
