Helleborus HGC Lucky Dip - (3 plants) - 3 x 2 Litre Pots

Helleborus HGC Lucky Dip - (3 plants) - 3 x 2 Litre Pots

German breeder Heuger is the breeder and creator of Helleborus Gold Collection – the finest collection of Hellebores on the market. Bred specifically for use as a cut flower, Hellebore Gold Collection plants have an upright habit and are selected for upward and outward-facing flowers that are much more useful to designers than older ‘Orientalis’ varieties with their “nodding” blooms. We love that their winter show brings colour and life to the darker part of the year. We grow four series here on our Herefordshire nursery; Christmas Roses, Ice N’ Roses®, Snow Roses and Winter ballet series from German breeder, Heuger. The colourful parts of the Hellebore are its hardened sepals, which surround a ring of tiny petals modified into tubular nectaries, and many stamens. Depending on the variety, Hellebores can bloom from November, for example Hellebore HGC® Ice N’ Roses® Early Rose, right through late winter, into early spring (Hellebore HGC® Maestro® is a lovely later-flowering variety). Hellebores are a hardy, dual-purpose perennial for blooms as well as attractive, long-lasting foliage. Though older varieties can take up to four years to yield stems suitable for cutting, Helleborus Gold Collection® Hellebores are extremely vigorous and will flower in their second year. Happy in part shade, hardy and low-maintenance, Hellebores will last for decades if they like the place they are planted. Helleborus Gold Collection® Hellebores quickly form productive clumps, and can grow up to 2 feet tall.

Citrus Mini Calamondin Bush - 15cm

Citrus Mini Calamondin Bush - 15cm

With her diminutive charm, the mini ornamental Calamondin bush asks for little but gives abundantly. From early spring she will grace you with delicate, white blossoms, her soft, orange perfume adding a sweet citrusy fragrance to your conservatory, patio or balcony. The calamondin is a petite fruit hailing from the Orient and often given as a gift during the Chinese New Year to signify good luck. These firm-skinned tiny, tangy, treasures grow plentifully among glossy dark green leaves and are perfect for a zesty pick-me-up. Sharp-tasting and small, round, orange fruits grow up to 4cm in diameter with a fine rind that loosens on ripening. Standing at around 40cm tall (including the pot), this easy-care citrus bush will be delivered with fruits on and has the potential to produce fruit each year, providing conditions are right. We will always pick the best plant on our nursery for you, however, please note that fruit on your citrus plant is not guaranteed, as this will be dependent on the time of year - with fruits being produced normally from beginning of autumn for most varieties. Plants ordered later in the season are more likely to drop their fruits in transit or may be despatched without fruit if they have finished producing. With correct feeding and care they will continue to fruit with the next cycle. As fruits ripen, they may also develop in colour. E.g. limes will show yellow or orange when they are ripe. The limes we know from supermarkets are picked immature to retain acidity and firmness and as such are green.

Wreath - Forest Foraging (Diameter: 12")

Wreath - Forest Foraging (Diameter: 12")

Designed to capture the enchantment of a winter woodland expedition, our exquisite Forest Foraging handcrafted wreath is made of lush, long-lasting evergreen Noble Fir, prized for its zesty, pine aroma and sourced from our plantation in Northern Scotland. Snow-kissed pine cones, frosted fronds and berry sprigs delicately encapsulate the season, offering a warm and enchanting winter welcome to your home, which fills the air with the smell of Christmas! This beautiful 12″ wreath is made on a sturdy wire frame based filled with fresh evergreen Noble Fir and dressed with natural pine cones, springs of faux frosted fir, apples and berries – elements meticulously chosen to harmonise with nature’s palette. The crowning touch is an elegant, hand-tied velvet ribbon giving a gorgeous traditional flourish. Can be hung on your door or used inside. Weave through tiny pin wire fairy lights for an extra twinkly touch but ensure your wreath is not left to dry out. An occasional misting with a spray bottle of water every 1-2 days will help to preserve your wreath and prevent it from drying. Ensuring your wreath is kept in cool conditions and not exposed to heat or a windy position, where it will dry out, will help it to last longer. We have been creating beautiful, full and fluffy wreaths, using high quality Noble Fir, since 2006 – the foliage sourced from our plantation in Northern Scotland and hand-crafted at our nursery site in Herefordshire. Our dedicated team of wreath makers meticulously trim the soft outer branches from the main stem, skill-fully gathering bundles of foliage perfectly sized for our 12-inch wreath ring. The foliage is attached in a herringbone formation guaranteeing a lush and secure wreath that gracefully retains its decoration. The foliage offcuts and branches are then chipped and composted before going back onto the local farmland as a mulch, so please hang your wreath with pride! Seasons Greetings and a Happy New Year from us to you!
