Octave is a point-and-click adventure game with action elements in a horror atmosphere . The production was released, among others on the AND and PC platforms, and its creation is the responsibility of the independent, one-person Anate Studio from Ukraine, which had a fairly successful debut thanks to the similarly styled, short adventure game The Kite from 2012. Story In Octave , we play the role of a man who is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Taken to the forest by a murderer who intends to get rid of him, he is saved at the last moment by a mysterious force . As he traverses the dark forest in search of a way out, he quickly realizes that what seemed like salvation is actually the beginning of another nightmare, and his fight for his life is not over. Gameplay The described production is an adventure game with a classic point-and-click interface, supplemented with action elements , and during the game we observe the development of events from a side perspective. The fun comes down to traversing subsequent locations, filled with various puzzles, as well as sinister shadows and monsters that we have to face more than once. During the adventure, we travel not only through a dark forest, but also a gloomy house haunted by paranormal phenomena, or underground, where the best way to save life is to escape.
