GNOG is an original 3D puzzle game that uses a touch interface. The production allows players to explore the heads of strange monsters, full of surprises and secrets. The title is also distinguished by an extremely colorful graphic design, and also supports the technology of virtual or augmented reality. Developers from the independent KO_OP studio are responsible for its creation (in the past, they helped Square Enix in the work on Lara Croft GO ). The role of the publisher has been taken over by Double Fine (under the Double Fine Presents brand).
Gameplay
Playing GNOG is about solving three-dimensional puzzles - we manipulate various elements of monster heads , turning them, opening and activating various functions - e.g. switching levers, moving wheels or turning shelves. While playing, we also come across collectibles (e.g. coins). We use motion controllers (in the case of VR games), a pad, or a mouse and keyboard.
It is worth noting that the first method of control offers a more natural interaction with the environment and provides a more complete experience . By touching individual parts of the world, we produce various effects that allow us to achieve the goal and move to the next level. Changing music also reacts to our actions.
