In Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, we go back a bit to the point where some mysterious people decided to discover a new source of radioactive energy, when Duke was busy fighting alien invaders. This source, however, had one very dangerous side effect: in its presence, people mutated and turned into bloodthirsty beasts. When this unsuccessful experiment finally closed the entire underground subway segment, the government decided to call in Duke Nukem. The player must, of course, help in the fight against dangerous mutants and find and destroy the source of radiation in the undergrounds of New York.Eight huge maps taking place in New York's Big Apple have been prepared for the passage. Along the way, we find new types of weapons and power-ups very useful in the fight against many opponents. A surprise is the availability of a new type of organic weapon, wreaking real havoc in the ranks of the monsters. The whole thing is made in three-dimensional graphics with a third person perspective.
