White Noise 2 is a horror-themed action game for PC and XONE, intended mainly for asymmetric multiplayer. The production is a continuation of the simple production, modeled on the famous Slender, White Noise: A Tale of Horror, which debuted at the end of 2012 as part of the Xbox Live Indie Games, and a few months later, an improved version of White Noise Online. The independent team of Milkstone Studios from Spain is responsible for all games in the series. Story While playing, we play the roles of Investigators who have to find all the tapes hidden in the game world and thus find out who or what is haunting this place. The task is made difficult, however, by the fact that the whole game takes place in almost complete darkness, we only have flashlights, and a terrifying monster follows our footsteps. Gameplay In terms of general gameplay assumptions, White Noise 2 does not differ from its predecessors in any way. By starting the game, we can play the role of one of the four detectives and try to find the above-mentioned. tapes with recordings, or jump into the skin of a monster and hunt wandering seekers in the darkness. Playing as a monster, we have to kill all four detectives, and the only thing that threatens us is the light, teleporting us some distance from the victim. Fortunately, we have additional special skills at our disposal (e.g. teleportation, light resistance or switching places with a detective) and totems that, placed in the game world, cause panic among detectives, and help us to see them, for example through walls. Playing as a detective, we have at our disposal almost only a flashlight, which, apart from illuminating the path, can scare an approaching monster for a while. The problem is that it discharges quite quickly, and too long contact with the monster can lead to a panic attack, which makes us a great target. Usually 2-3 catch ends in death for us. In difficult situations, however, we can use first aid kits, painkillers and several other gadgets. A curiosity is the fact that death does not mean the end of the game for us, because then we turn into a ghost and thanks to our new skills we can support other players until they win or all of them are killed. In addition, as the game progresses, we can unlock new playable characters and better flashlight models, characterized by, for example, greater battery life.

Ziggurat is an unusual representative of the old-school dungeon-crawler genre, combining classic gameplay mechanics with elements of dynamic, first-person action games. The title was created by the independent Spanish studio Milkstone, which has made a number of budget productions, such as White Noise and Little Racers STREET. The title Ziggurat is a sacred building characteristic of Mesopotamian architecture in the form of a multi-storey tower with gradually decreasing storeys. The protagonist of the game enters such a building - a neophyte wizard, who intends to prove his worth and deserve the name of a powerful wizard. We observe the action of the game from a first-person perspective, and the gameplay itself takes place at an extremely dynamic pace. Each level of the Ziggurat is in practice a series of rooms, in which not only various opponents and sophisticated traps await us, but also various collectibles and scrolls, thanks to which we can improve our character's skills. The hero we control uses three types of magic: blue, green and orange, represented in practice by magic books, staffs and throwable items. Each type of magic has its own energy bar, which depletes relatively quickly in the heat of battle. We can only supplement it by killing opponents who use the same type of magic. Just like in classic dungeon crawlers, the death of the protagonist in Ziggurat means the end of the fun. It is worth noting, however, that the perks obtained during the previous game remain in our inventory, thanks to which the next approach to the game should turn out to be a bit easier. As we progress, we will also unlock other of the 12 playable characters, including shaman, alchemist, acrobat, bard, vampire, templar and librarian. Ziggurat has high-quality graphics in a slightly warcraft style. The authors did not shy away from their sense of humor, for example, angry carrots will turn out to be one of the opponents attacking us. It is also worth paying attention to the fact that the layout of rooms, enemies and collectibles is randomly generated, which ensures a different course of each subsequent game.
