The Stars are Left is a DLC add-on to the popular action-RPG game Magicka . The title gathered a large group of supporters, selling itself in large numbers via digital distribution. This encouraged the developers to release more extensions, one of the largest of which is The Stars are Left .StoryThe main attraction of the package is an additional campaign that takes place twenty years after the events of the original. The story is inspired by the legends of Cthulhu, and therefore on our way we meet numerous monsters invented by the famous writer Howard Phillips Lovecraft. Playing the role of a magician, we try to unravel the secrets hidden in subsequent dark locations. The serious atmosphere of the world has been mixed with a specific humor. This time, the authors "make fun of" Minecraft , which popularized the production of items from available ingredients, i.e. crafting.GameplayThe gameplay has not changed significantly since the base game. So we visit the next stages and eliminate enemies using magic spells. The latter can be created by combining various elements collected during exploration. The whole game has been enriched with seven new enemies, two bosses, the same amount of robes for heroes and maps for the challenge mode. It could not do without the debut of several previously unavailable items and spells. In addition, there are five additional achievements to unlock.

Pillars of Eternity: The White March Part II is another extension to the PC RPG game by Obsidian Entertainment, released in March 2015 for PC, continuing the traditions of such cult representatives as Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and Planescape: Torment. As in the case of the first DLC, the basic game is required to play, and both expansions can be purchased separately or in a package. In the expansion, we return to the snow-covered areas of the title White March, where a team controlled by players goes on a mission to discover the secret of the legendary Durban steel. The second part of the expansion continues the themes started in The White March Part I, expanding the game world with new locations and story missions and offering the maximum character level increased to 16 and the heroes' special abilities previously unavailable. The co-creators of the original Pillars of Eternity: Eric Fernstermaker (also known from South Park: The Stick of Truth) and Carrie Patel - the author of the popular, steampunk series of Recoletta books are again responsible for the plot of the add-on. In addition to the usual bonus content, one of the biggest news of The White March Part II is the arrival of a new companion, the barbarian Meneha. The creators have also prepared a previously absent game mode called Story Time, which allows you to get through the extremely extensive story of the game in a special, accelerated pace.

This challenge is also taken by the player's team, which goes to the title White March with a mission to discover the secret of the legendary Durban steel. In addition to the main storyline, Pillars of Eternity: The White March Part I also offers a lot of side missions and an extremely difficult location, intended for the most experienced teams. In addition, the add-on introduces new skills and two additional companions that can be recruited to the team. The maximum experience level has also been increased to 14. All these novelties, however, do not change the basic elements of the game. Pillars of Eternity: The White March Part I is still a classic RPG in which we explore the world, complete missions, develop heroes and fight battles. The clashes are played in real time with the option of an active pause. The authors simply offered new content, instead of changing the basic foundations of the game.
