Super Magbot takes us on a journey to the fictional galaxy Magnetia, the fate of which hung in a thread when it was targeted by a powerful villain. During the game, we take control of the title Super Magbot, an exploration robot on whose shoulders the task of dealing with this arch-villain and restoring the old order and order in the galaxy. In Super Magbot, we observe the action from the side. Over a hundred different levels await you to visit. They consist of four unique worlds filled with various traps and obstacles. Each of them ends with a powerful boss, whose defeat requires proper use of the mechanics presented at a given stage. Although the main character cannot jump due to his weight, he can quickly move across platforms and avoid dangers thanks to red and blue magnets, which are teeming with maps. A shot with a beam of the same color will push the Magbot away, while a beam of a different color will pull it back. As we progress, we discover new types of magnets; among their eight types we can find, among others, special launchers that repel the protagonist at high speed and those that allow the Magbot to hover in the air for a short time. There is also a bonus energy waiting for those who want to collect it, the collection of which requires reaching extremely hard-to-reach nooks of the boards. It is worth noting that the locations are randomly generated, so the gameplay looks a bit different each time. On the island you can also find a wide variety of different places - incl. forests, mountains or dungeons. The crafting system plays an important role in Team17 - we can create both simple items (e.g. improvised weapons) and more advanced things (shelters, buildings). The monkeys that we find on the island can help us in work (but also in combat) - provided that we train them properly in advance. This solution adds a bit more strategic depth to the game. While playing, we can also explore ancient temples that can be found on the map. There are very valuable treasures inside, but getting them will not be an easy task. We can play The Survivalists alone or with others. The game offers a single player mode, but we can count on the best fun by playing in online cooperation with three friends. The Survivalists has fairly simple, two-dimensional graphics, which can still catch the eye, mainly due to the interesting artistic style and well-designed animations. The character and environment models are quite detailed. It is also worth paying attention to the pleasant, warm color palette.
