Hell Let Loose is the debut project of the independent Australian studio Black Matter. I'm talking about a WWII FPS focused on multiplayer gameplay.
An Epic Theatre of War
In Hell Let Loose, the action is shown from the first person perspective (FPP). The production emphasizes the most realistic presentation of warfare, so the battles take place on extensive maps designed on the basis of archival documents. The pillar of the game are the clashes between two teams of 50 people divided into teams of several people called platoons. The task of the combatants is to take over and maintain individual sectors while taking care of supply lines that guarantee access to the necessary resources such as fuel and ammunition.
Hardcore Gameplay
Dropping you in more than 9 iconic battlefields of World War II - such as Omaha Beach, Carentan and Foy is at the heart of the Hell Let Loose experience. Historical vehicles, weapons, uniforms are intricately detailed, and the combat is as brutal and bloody as it was on the day. Combat takes place on huge, to-scale maps from real battle locations, recreated using archival aerial photography and satellite imagery in stunning detail using Unreal Engine 4.
