Might & Magic: Heroes VII - Trial by Fire is an extension to the 2015 turn-based fantasy strategy Might & Magic: Heroes VII released on the PC platform. This is a standalone expansion, meaning it doesn't require the base game. Both productions were developed by Limbic Entertainment studio. The action of the expansion begins five years after the events of Might & Magic: Heroes VII, as a result of which Ivan Gryf became the first ruler of the Holy Griffin Empire. After a brief period of peace, the realm is starting to flare up again, largely due to mounting problems with the neighboring dwarf kingdom of Grimheim. Ivan prepares for another war in defense of his people, but delays in making a decision, as a large-scale conflict may turn out to be the end of the Empire. Also, less militant dwarven nobles want to keep peace and send an emissary, Vilma "Stone Shield" Bjornsdottir, to facilitate dialogue between the two powers. Released on the PC platform Might & Magic: Heroes VII - Trial by Fire does not introduce significant changes to the gameplay mechanics of the basic version of the game and instead focuses on the new content. Among them, there are two additional campaigns that allow you to learn about, among others the grim history of the dwarven race. There are also two bonus scenario maps by Terry B. Ray, the writer of Heroes of Might and Magic IV and Heroes Chronicles. The expansion also includes six new skirmish maps. The add-on also introduces the Fortress faction, well-known to fans of the series, which of course has its own units and buildings, and uses the unique Rune Magic.

Pearce's talents allow him to control almost every element of the modern world around him. Doing all of this is possible thanks to the presence of the Central Operating System, or ctOS. This solution connected the infrastructure managing, among others, to one network. power supply, city subway, traffic lights and surveillance cameras. As a result, metropolises are controlled by computers owned by private companies. These corporations use their position to collect huge amounts of data about every citizen. To take control of a given district, all you need to do is find the local ctOS headquarters and obtain the access codes you need. The game offers a world with an open structure, in which every element connected to the Central Operating System is a potential weapon. All of this does not mean that Aiden is a weakling stuck to the screen of a cell phone. On the contrary, the hero is also able to deal with physical violence very well and is able to deal with much larger enemy forces. During the clashes, he uses both firearms (from a regular pistol to a bazooka), homemade explosives, and close combat techniques. The cover system also helps him survive. Watch Dogs has an extensive multiplayer mode, based on several modes that use the main character's hacking skills in different ways. Story The action of  Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China was set in 16th-century China. The main character of the game is Shao Jun - an assassin trained by the legendary Ezio Auditore da Firenze (known from Assassin's Creed II and the next two parts of the series), whom we could meet in the animated short film Assassin's Creed: Embers. Heroin returns to the Middle Kingdom to avenge the murdered members of the brotherhood. Like other Assassin's Creed games, the title allows you to visit famous places where the Great Wall, Forbidden City and Beijing shine. Historical figures also play a role in the plot. Gameplay Although the gameplay in Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China was based on the standard scheme for the series, its assumptions were adapted to the specifics of this position. The protagonist can therefore resist opponents in direct clashes (making perfect use of the hidden blade she hides in one of her shoes, as well as the jian sword), but this time stealth aspects play a much more important role. The title puts more emphasis on staying hidden - avoiding contact with adversaries and sneaking behind their backs is a bonus.
