Story
The main characters of Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol are the teenage Zeke and Julie. In the first game, Zombies Ate My Neighbors , the protagonists must save their neighbors from the invasion of horror-type creatures . In the second production, entitled Ghoul Patrol , our pupils accidentally summon a powerful spirit who, together with his army, intends to rewrite the history books collected in the library, changing the past of Metropolis in its ghostly ways. Zeke and Julie must go back in time and thwart their plans , or else their hometown will be destroyed.
Gameplay
In the games that make up the Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol set, the action is shown from a bird's eye view. During the game, we travel through various locations and save the title neighbors (as well as local cheerleaders, schoolmates, teachers, tourists and soldiers). Although only one person is required to go to the next stage, it is worth trying harder, because for each survivor we get points that give us extra lives. Of course, hordes of enemies hinder us in saving our neighbors. These include zombies, mummies, possessed dolls, lizard people, vampires, overgrown ants, and even Martians. We eliminate adversaries by making use of an extensive arsenal, including water guns, explosive carbonated drinks, bazookas and garden shovels. In addition, from time to time heroes get powerful artifacts and power-ups that temporarily increase their combat potential.
