Amuerte Coca Leaf Gin - Blue Edition The distiller's at Amuerte have done it again.... this time creating a limited edition which includes the best figs. This edition is totally new, and created perfectly in time for the summer! Amuerte have based their Blue edition on the Amuerte Black Gin. To make this so unique and special though, they have enriched it with Brazillian Blue Figs (hence the colour of the bottle). This gives this gin a particularly unique and fruity taste. Since Greek and Roman times, figs have enjoyed a reputation as a true luxury product - so it's particularly fitting that here they are paired with Amuerte Gin. The result of this pairing is perfectly balanced. The gin has an intruiging subtle bitter flavour which comes from the coca leaves. This pairs perfectly with the Brazillian figs, which give a warm sweet aftertaste. As with the Black and White editions (and the previous red limited edition), the gin is contained in a handcrafted bottle which has 24k gold foil. Truly a perfect container for this delicious gin! Read more about Amuerte Perfect Serve We love this served simply with a neutral tonic (such as Fentimans Indian Tonic), but it also pairs really well with a Ginger Beer. For either option, take a large glass filled with ice and add 50ml of the gin. Gently pour over 150ml of your chosen mixer, stir gently and garnish with a slice of fig.
