Homefront: The Revolution is a new approach to the FPS shooter released in 2011, which, although not appreciated by critics, was quite popular among players. The title was produced by the Dambuster studio (formerly Crytek UK), replacing the creators of the original - the Kaos Studios team. After the collapse of the original publisher THQ, the rights to the brand were bought by Crytek, and later by Deep Silver, which allowed for the continuation of work on the game.  Story The plot of the game continues the plot of the hypothetical conflict between North Korea and the USA. Four years after the start of the bloody occupation of the United States, the ever stronger centers of the resistance are preparing the final revolution against the Asian invaders. We move to the streets of the destroyed and occupied Philadelphia, where, as members of the local partisans, we will try to thwart the ruthless enemy. In the game, we get to know the fate of completely new heroes who, alone or in cooperation mode, will face a much better equipped Korean army. Gameplay Unlike the linear part of the first one, Homefront: The Revolution for PC, PS4 and XONE takes place in a partially open world , in which the order and method of completing individual tasks depend mainly on the players. As members of the resistance movement, we gain the opportunity to recruit people to help. In addition to dynamic, open combat with the use of various types of weapons and vehicles, the so-called The yellow zones also require the use of guerrilla techniques and silent operation behind enemy lines. This means that we often run out of ammo, and quite a few levels are designed to scare players.Compared to the first part, more large locations have appeared where it is possible to use different tactics and choose several paths to the goal.
