The production was prepared by Arrowhead Game studio, known from the very popular and inventive Magicka series . Gameplay In The Showdown Effect tried to give the most amazing atmosphere of the classic scenes from action movies. Players take on the role of warriors from different historical periods to fight to the death in multi-level arenas. The plot constructed in this way allowed the creators to include both medieval knights and futuristic policemen in the game. In action, we watch shotguns, pans, lightsabers, rifles, grenades, katanas and many other crazy types of weapons. From the gameplay side, The Showdown Effect is a combination of a platformer and a shooter. The authors created simple and convenient controls and a lot of techniques to eliminate opponents (the mentioned arsenal). This makes the fun addictive. We have to approach the clashes carefully and learn the behavior patterns of the opponents, and then use the gaps in their defense by launching combinations of light and strong attacks. Our chances are increased by brewing magic potions from collected components, as well as by looking for well-hidden mystical books that provide us with spells and runes. The world is procedurally generated. Interestingly, we can observe it not only at each subsequent start of the game, but also during the game - during the game, we sometimes hit points that allow us to randomly change locations. In addition, the developers have created a living ecosystem in which various creatures fight each other - this can be used by the hero to his advantage, for example by luring creatures that are enemies to each other. Necropolis for PC, PS4 and XONE is characterized by three-dimensional graphics designed in an unusual way. The creators focused on dark colors and models with a relatively small number of polygons combined with a world full of strange shapes and unusual structures.

So it may happen that the hitherto faithful vassal will disobey us at the urging of his wife. All this means that as a ruler, we cannot trust anyone to the end.
