Saints Row is the fifth main part of the popular series of action games with an open world, with a huge dose of absurd humor. The production was developed by the Volition Inc., developing the series, and was released by Deep Silver, the company that oversees the brand.Saints Row is a prequel to the whole series, at the same time being its "soft" reboot. The action of this production was set before the events presented in the first part of the series. The game takes us on a journey to Santo Ileso in the southwest of the United States, where the title Saints were born. During the game, we play the role of a hero who climbs the ranks of a criminal career, trying to build his own criminal empire together with such personalities as Neenah, Kevin and Eli. The task is not easy, because the protagonist and his entourage have to face numerous opponents such as Los Panteros, Idols and Marshalli.In Saints Row, we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP). We start the game with creating a character whose gender and appearance we decide on our own. There is nothing else for us to do but to throw ourselves into the whirlwind of criminal adventures.The game offers the largest and most diverse open world in the history of the series, consisting of a metropolis and its surrounding areas, including a sandy desert. We travel it on foot or at the controls of numerous vehicles and machines, such as cars, motorcycles, airplanes and helicopters, and even more unusual means of transport such as hoverboards or go-karts. The icing on the cake is a gliding suit, which allows you to cover long distances in the air in an environmentally friendly (though not necessarily safe) way.The map is divided into five areas, and in order to gain control over each of them, we must complete missions and fight against hosts of enemies. The creators provide us with several heroes that differ in terms of appearance, fighting style and weapons. In the skin of one of them, we have to travel through various locations. Each of the places visited belongs to a specific deity with whom the clash awaits us at the end. Before we can face the mighty cruelty, we must first eliminate the hosts of monsters and deal with numerous traps and obstacles that guard access to his lair. The combat system is dexterity, and after killing a certain number of enemies, the hero we control can go into a combat frenzy, which temporarily increases his strength, speed and resistance to damage. Ultimately, the more pessimistic of the finals was chosen.Metro: Last Light is an action game with a first-person perspective. Most of the time, our task is to break through the linear levels and shoot enemies. At the same time, the fun is diversified by stealth sections, in which the best tactic is to eliminate enemies silently. In addition, the creators drew inspiration from the survival horror genre. This means that we often run out of ammo, and quite a few levels are designed to scare players.Compared to the first part, more large locations have appeared where it is possible to use different tactics and choose several paths to the goal. Compilation sequences, the artificial intelligence of opponents and the dynamics of clashes have also been improved. The arsenal of available weapons has also been expanded. It is worth adding that the exciting clashes, however, do not dominate the survival horror sequences known from the previous Metro. The proportions between the two styles remained the same as in the first part.

The player continues the journey of the 23-year-old main character: Artyom. He escaped from the Moscow subway to roam the lands of former Russia. However, he is not alone - he is accompanied by the so-called Spartan Rangers. They all try to get to the far east. We meet Artyom in the Urals, near the Volga River. He jumps on the locomotive Aurora, which has the task of going to the east. There he hopes to start a new and better life together with his wife Anna. The entire plot closes in one year, and the gameplay revolves around the four seasons. The beginning takes place in the Moscow metro, during the winter.   Monsters in Metro The game's post-nuclear world is home to several types of strange creatures. All of them are terrifying and look like they are taken straight out of horror movies. During your journey through the former Russian territory, as Artyom, you can meet grotesque, fascinating mutants such as guardians, humanimals and shrimps. There is also one demon. Guardians are hunters who come in packs. They are most dangerous in groups, a lone mutant is a piece of cake for a Spartan. Humanimal loves the night. He looks like a human, but he is definitely not one. He loves dark places and abandoned buildings. His behavior may resemble that of monkeys, they attack as soon as they see you. The shrimps look like, yes, you guessed it, normal shrimps. This form of water mutant likes to attack from a long distance. The demon is a huge beast, the most deadly in this world. It hunts alone and poses a great threat to Spartans. It is better to avoid him at all costs. In Painkiller: Resurrection, we play the role of Wild Bill Sherman, an assassin acting on behalf of the CIA and high-ranking government officials. It is the latter who entrust Dziki Bill with a lucrative task that quickly becomes complicated and gets out of control of the protagonist. It might seem that the banal liquidation of Bill's political rival would be the proverbial milk porridge. And so it was - at least until a school bus full of kids pulled up near the service vehicle belonging to Sherman's target. A bomb connected to the ignition switch exploded when the key was turned. As a result, not only children and politician died, but also Dziki Bill, who tried to stop the whole event. The death of the protagonist is the beginning of the game proper. In Painkiller: Resurrection, the tradition of playing the role of undead heroes, who are faced with the task of dealing with the overwhelming forces of the hellish army, has been maintained. This was the case in the first one, where we helped Daniel Garner complete this mission, and also in Overdose, where we had the opportunity to learn about both the events before the first and those that took place after the story told in the People Can Fly. In Resurrection, the action was also set in Purgatory, but this time the events taking place in it will take on a completely new meaning. Wild Bill will land in the middle of a conflict between the forces of Heaven and Hell. The player performs missions for both factions, but the finale of the story is typical of Painkiller. Its achievement requires dealing with a huge number of opponents. We do this using many types of weapons, including the iconic Painkiller. Painkiller: Overdose is the official continuation of the FPP shooter released in 2004, prepared by the Polish development studio People Can Fly. However, another company is responsible for the development of the sequel, namely the Czech Mindware Studios. This developer is known for such productions as Voodoo Nights (PC, X360) or Cold War: Behind The Iron Curtain (PC, XBX). The sequel to Painkiller does not introduce any revolutionary changes to the game. The game is still focused on the mass extermination of monsters, using an arsenal of more or less bizarre weapons. Story The events presented in Overdose partly take place before the story told in the first part of the series. We also play a completely new character. As before, the plot plays a definitely secondary role, not interfering with the mass destruction of the creatures appearing on the screen. This time around 40 different types of demons are waiting for players. Many of these creatures appear for the first time, but some are already known from the first part. The producer took care of new bosses, modeled on those from the first Painkiller. These opponents are therefore distinguished by both huge size and high power of the blows they inflict. Gameplay The single-player campaign prepared by the game developers consists of sixteen completely new levels that can be overcome on several different levels of difficulty. The arsenal of available weapons has been expanded with six new guns. The player can also count on much more powerful cards in the deck he collects and known from the first part of the series. The game does not lack a suitably developed multiplayer. The manufacturer has expanded, among other things, the options of tracking his previous activities. The multiplayer is also compatible with maps and game modes from the first part of Painkiller. Visually, the game resembles its predecessor, although of course many new graphic effects have been added. We continue to observe the action from the first person perspective.
