The Middle Kingdom is outside the playable map, but its influence on political games, especially in India and Transoksani, is very large and has the potential to make our lives much easier or more difficult. Thanks to Crusader Kings II: Jade Dragon released on PC, players gain access to a separate window describing the status and desires of the Chinese emperor, which makes it easier for us to fulfill the wishes of this ruler, if necessary. It is also possible to become his vassal, which brings many benefits, but also threats, if we do not manage to become independent from him before he loses influence. As befits Crusader Kings II, specific characters play a key role. Princes and adventurers regularly leave China in search of fame and riches in other countries. Necropolis for PC, PS4 and XONE is a combination of a third-person action game with elements of the roguelike genre. This is the second major work by the independent American studio Harebrained Schemes, founded in 2011 and debuting in 2013 as a classic representative of the cRPG genre - Shadowrun Returns. The action of this title is set in a fantasy setting, in which you can see science-fiction elements. The events take place in a cavernous magical complex with constantly changing shapes. The player takes on the role of a daredevil, whose task is to explore the corners of this place and get out of it, defeating the ruling beings - the mad archmage Abraxis and the "intelligence" created by him, which feeds on the souls of the unfortunates lured into her domain. The game is accompanied by a lot of humor, and the authors of the film The Cabin in the Woods were the source of inspiration in constructing the world (especially its bestiary). As for the gameplay model, we are dealing with a full-blooded action game, with a dynamic and demanding combat system based on timing and animations. We have to approach the clashes carefully and learn the behavior patterns of the opponents, and then use the gaps in their defense by launching combinations of light and strong attacks. Our chances are increased by brewing magic potions from collected components, as well as by looking for well-hidden mystical books that provide us with spells and runes. The world is procedurally generated. Interestingly, we can observe it not only at each subsequent start of the game, but also during the game - during the game, we sometimes hit points that allow us to randomly change locations. In addition, the developers have created a living ecosystem in which various creatures fight each other - this can be used by the hero to his advantage, for example by luring creatures that are enemies to each other. Necropolis for PC, PS4 and XONE is characterized by three-dimensional graphics designed in an unusual way. The creators focused on dark colors and models with a relatively small number of polygons combined with a world full of strange shapes and unusual structures.

Joining religious orders does not require a habit, as these organizations also offer positions for lay people. Membership provides bonuses to piety, but also results in certain obligations. Joining secret cults is much more risky, but has the potential to be highly profitable. Within each group, characters get the ability to climb the ranks of the organization, which allows them to unlock new skills and activate new chains of events. In addition, the DLC has an option to organize hunting for heretics, allowing you to send a chaplain on a mission to destroy groups that undermine our authority and the Church. The expansion also introduces new types of assassins and allows you to finance archaeological expeditions in search of treasures and holy relics. Tyranny: Bastard's Wound takes players on a journey to a new area of the land of Tiers. This time the plot focuses on an illegal refugee camp inhabited by people who have escaped from the absolute law of Kyros and are now forced to live in hiding. The moment our hero and his team arrive, their fate rests in our hands. The add-on also extends the storylines of Barik, Lantry and Verse (known from the main adventure) and allows you to learn new details about the Animals tribe. By default, the course of the story is non-linear, and the path it takes is determined by the choices we make. In Tyranny: Bastard's Wound we traverse a whole new area. The pillar of the game is once again performing tasks commissioned by neutral characters and completing missions related to the above-mentioned team members. It is worth mentioning that the free update was released along with the described add-on. The update not only introduced more voiced dialogue lines, but also expanded the third act of the campaign from the base game. In addition, if we lead the hero faithful to Kyros into battle, we can count on a new ending to the plot.

Both productions were developed by Paradox Interactive studio. What's new in Hearts of Iron IV: Together for Victory? Added nations of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, The Raj (India), and South Africa, with dedicated focus trees and events. Dominions of the United Kingdom can now decide whether to stay loyal to the Crown or to follow an alternate, more independent path. Thanks to the new autonomy system, the subjugated state gains more independence from foreign rulers. The lend-lease function now allows the player to ask for needed equipment from their allies. Players have better control over encircling opponents and bursting through their lines with the new Spearhead battleplan command. Technology sharing allows the Commonwealth nations to make significant leaps forward, with assistance from Great Britain. Commonwealth infantry, air force, and other equipment receive 19 new 3D models and 2D art. Soundtrack composed by Andreas Waldetoft adds three new musical pieces: London in Flames, Operation Compass, and Heroes of El Alamein. Added languages for infantry units: German, French, Italian, British English, American English, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Japanese, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish. Upgraded combat log enables players to check up on such factors as equipment spending, etc. Reception Together for Victory received mixed to positive reviews from players and game critics alike. The new content gathered favorable opinion, however, many players stated that it should be part of the main game, not the HoI4 expansion. The lend-lease function now allows the player to ask for needed equipment from their allies. Players have better control over encircling opponents and bursting through their lines with the new Spearhead battleplan command. Technology sharing allows the Commonwealth nations to make significant leaps forward, with assistance from Great Britain. Commonwealth infantry, air force, and other equipment receive 19 new 3D models and 2D art. Soundtrack composed by Andreas Waldetoft adds three new musical pieces: London in Flames, Operation Compass, and Heroes of El Alamein. Added languages for infantry units: German, French, Italian, British English, American English, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Japanese, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish. Upgraded combat log enables players to check up on such factors as equipment spending, etc. Reception Together for Victory received mixed to positive reviews from players and game critics alike. Long ago, the gates of this fortress - Durgan's Battery - were closed by their dwarven builders. Centuries later, the mysteries of the Battery remain unsolved. However, there are still plenty of daredevils ready to try their hand at opening the gate, as rumors say that there are very valuable artifacts inside. This challenge is also taken by the player's team, which goes to the title White March with a mission to discover the secret of the legendary Durban steel. In addition to the main storyline, Pillars of Eternity: The White March Part I also offers a lot of side missions and an extremely difficult location, intended for the most experienced teams.
