This is a non-standalone expansion, which means that it requires the basic version of Crusader Kings II to work. Both productions were developed by Paradox Developments studio.  Gameplay According to the DLC title, it introduces China to the game, but not as a nation that we can personally control. The Middle Kingdom is outside the playable map, but its influence on political games, especially in India and Transoksani, is very large and has the potential to make our lives much easier or more difficult. Thanks to Crusader Kings II: Jade Dragon released on PC, players gain access to a separate window describing the status and desires of the Chinese emperor, which makes it easier for us to fulfill the wishes of this ruler, if necessary. As befits Crusader Kings II, specific characters play a key role. Princes and adventurers regularly leave China in search of fame and riches in other countries.
