AlcoDigital Platinum Breathalyzer

AlcoDigital Platinum Breathalyzer

Product Properties       The Platinum requires no annual calibration and you can replace the fuel cell sensor yourself – just like a battery. Just order th e swap & go replaceable sensor fr om us and replace the sensor every 12 months or 500 tests (whichever comes first). Other breathalysers require a regular calibration at our workshop but with a swap & go breathalyser, no calibration = no days without your breathalyzer. At under £200, the Platinum is the cheapest fuel cell breathalyser in our  swap and go range   and provides the best technology at an affordable price. The AlcoDigital Platinum reads in milligrams per litre (mg/L) of breath and provides measurements up to 2.00mg/L.  The English and Welsh drink drive limit is 0.35mg/L and the Scottish drink drive limit is 0.22 mg/L. UK based 12 month warranty. Swap & Go Fuel Cell Sensor The complex nature of the fuel cell has meant it has taken Sentech, one of the Worlds’ foremost breathalyzer manufacturers, several years to miniaturise and perfect – but with the AlcoDigital Platinum they have succeeded. The single replaceable sensor cartridge contains all the elements necessary for accurate testing to as little as 0.005% BAC – far beyond the performance of semi-conductor models. Fuel cell sensors are much larger than semi-conductor sensors. The larger the sensor, the better it can produce the electrical current needed to detect levels of alcohol – giving more reliable and consistent results. You will also find that fuel cell sensors are more durable, so they can be used frequently whilst maintaining their high levels of accuracy. To get the most accurate reading, you must wait at least 20 minutes after consuming any alcohol, food or smoking to conduct a breathalyser test. This will also help with the longevity of the unit. Easy to use The AlcoDigital Platinum breathalyzer has a compact design and is easy to use, with a simple one button operation. Turn the breathalyser on and it will momentarily warm up.  When ‘blow’ is displayed, it is ready for a breath test. Simply blow into the breathalyser with a continuous flow and the bright LED display show the breath test result in mg/L. You can use this result to determine whether or not you are over the legal drink drive limit or not, however the only safe level to drive at is ZERO. Approvals   CE approval   FDA approval   RoHS Compliant Mouthpieces The AlcoDigital Platinum breathalyzer comes with 5 mouthpieces.  Without a mouthpiece you won’t always be able to provide a steady flow into the breathalyzer; mouthpieces help direct the breath content over the sensor to produce a more accurate and consistent result. Single Use NF approved 0.02% BAC Breathalyzer, 150

Single Use NF Approved French 0.05% Breathalyzer Kit, 150

Single Use NF Approved French 0.05% Breathalyzer Kit, 150

Product Properties The easiest solution to ensure you comply with the French breathalyser law is to carry an NF Approved single use breathalyser. With the drink drive limit in France being close to that in England and Wales, these are also the perfect solution for those that need a cheap breathalyser to check themselves the ‘morning after’. Single Use NF Approved French 0.05% Breathalyzer Kits The cheapest solution to ensure you comply with the French breathalyser law is to carry an NF Approved single use breathalyzer kit. Don’t be fooled by fakes Any device that is NF Approved will have the NF logo on the packaging and the supplier will be able to provide you with an NF Certificate – ours can be seen here. ‘Tested to NF Standards’ and ‘Approved for use in France’ is like saying your car was ‘tested’ for an MOT; it doesn’t mean it passed! If someone is selling you an NF-Approved breathalyser kit, ask to see their certificate. If they can’t produce one, don’t buy it! Directions for use Blow into the bag with a full breath. Squeeze the bag through the crystals. If the crystals change colour, you know you have alcohol left in your system. There is a line to act as an indication of what the legal limit in France is. Frequently Asked Questions Will the French police test me with my kit? The Gendarme will not ask you to do a breath test for them using your own kit – they will use their own professional digital breathalyser if they suspect that you’ve been drinking. How many breathalysers do I need to keep? You only need to carry one – however if you decide to use it, you will need another unused kit to show a Gendarme if you’re stopped, which is why most recommend a minimum of two. But if you DO test yourself and find you’re over the limit, you’ll need a second to check you are to drive again – and a third to show the Gendarme. How do the single use breathalysers work? Unlike other kits where the user has to blow through the tube (which can be difficult for some users, especially the elderly) with our French NF-Approved breathalyser kit, the user blows into the bag without the tube first; the ends of the tube are then squeezed together (nothing to break off, throw away etc) and the air is then squeezed by hand back through the tube. How do I read the result of the breathalyser test? The results are easy to read; the crystals in the tube are white and turn red when alcohol is present. They comply with REACH legislation, ensuring that they are Chromium free. Images for illustration purposes only, actual product may differ.
