Apollo Series 65 Diode Base 45681-201APO

Apollo Series 65 Diode Base 45681-201The Series 65 Diode Base is designed for use with conventional systems that have manual call points and detector bases on the same circuit. The base is fitted with a schottky diode on the L1 IN and L1 OUT wiring terminals. This base can only be used with compatible control equipment.OperationAll detectors in the Series 65 range fit into Series 60 standard mounting bases. The bases are of 100mm diameter and have five terminals marked according to their function Line 1 in line 1 out line 2 in and out remote indicator negative earth. Detectors are polarity insensitive so that identification of positive and negative lines is only required if a remote LED is fitted. An earth connection is not required for either safety or correct operation of detectors. The earth terminal is provided for tidy termination of earthed conductors or cable screens and to maintain earth continuity where necessary. Bases have a wide interior diameter for ease of access to cables and terminals and there are two slots for fixing screws at a spacing of 51 to 69mm. Detectors fit into bases one way only and require clockwise rotation without push force to be plugged in.Key FeaturesDetector locking mechanismOne way fitEasy to wireContains an earth connectorContinues to work during unauthorised removal of detectorsBrand FeaturesWide-operating voltage of 933 V DCWide-operating and storage temperature of -20C to 60CCan be used on security systemsElectrically and mechanically compatible with Series 60Proven detection performance

Apollo Series 65 A1R Heat Detector - 55000-122APO

Apollo Series 65 A1R Heat Detector - 55000-122APO

Apollo Series 65 A1R Heat Detector - 55000-122The Series 65 Heat Detector monitors temperature by using a dual thermistor network which provides a voltage output proportional to the external air temperature. There are 12 heat detectors in the Series 65 range designed to suit a wide variety of operating conditions. Apollo Series 65 smoke heat detector range are a direct replacement for the earlier Series 60 devices. Series 65 detectors have a wide voltage range 9-33 volt DC and can be integrated on to security systems when used with the 12 volt relay base 45681-508.The heat detector operates by using a matched pair of thermistors to sense heat. One thermistor is exposed to the ambient temperature the other is sealed. In normal conditions the two thermistors register similar temperatures but on the development of a fire the temperature recorded by the exposed thermistor will increase rapidly resulting in an imbalance of the thermistors and causing the detector to change to the alarm state.A1R BR and CR are Rate of Rise detectors designed to detect a fire as the temperature increases but they also have a fixed upper limit at which the detector will go into alarm if the rate of temperature increase has been too slow to trigger the detector earlier.Key Features Can be used for applications where smoke detectors are unsuitableIdeal for environments that are dirty or smoky under natural conditionsWide operating voltageFlashing LED and magnet operated test switch optionWide-operating voltage of 933 V DCWide-operating and storage temperature of -20C to 60CCan be used on security systemsElectrically and mechanically compatible with Series 60Proven detection performance

Apollo XP95 Heat Detector Standard Temperature 55000-400APO

Apollo XP95 Heat Detector Standard Temperature 55000-400APOThe XP95 Heat Detector monitors temperature by using a single thermistor which provides a count output proportional to the external air temperature. The XP95 range features two heat detectors standard and high temperature. The standard heat detector is classified as an A2S device and will report an alarm at 55C. The high temperature detector classified as a CS device will report an alarm at 90C.Brand InformationThe XP95 range of analogue addressable fire detectors uses tried and trusted technology to give the best performance and has unique features that benefit the installer and the end user. It is suitable for medium-to-large applications with simple installation requirements. As it operates using digital communication XP95 has a high immunity from corruption and is therefore often preferred in a large system where life safety is critical. XP95 products are frequently used in commercial industrial financial government ITtelecoms and healthcare applications.OperationThe XP95 heat detectors have a low air flow resistance case made of self-extinguishing white polycarbonate. The devices monitor heat by using a single thermistor network which provides a voltage output proportional to the external air temperature. The standard heat detectors 55000-400 and 55000-420 respond to increasing air temperature in such a way that they are classified as an A2S device. Both devices will give 55 counts at 55C. A high temperature CS heat detector 55000-401 which can be installed in a typical ambient temperature of 55C is available. This device will give 55 counts at 90C.Key FeaturesIdeal in environments that are dirty or smoky under normal conditionsWell-suited to warehouses loading bays and car parksUnaffected by wind or atmospheric pressureOther part codes include AD-2002

Apollo XP95 Manual Call Point with Isolator - 55100-908APO

Apollo XP95 Manual Call Point with Isolator - 55100-908APO

Apollo XP95 Manual Call Point with Isolator - 55100-908APOThe XP95 range of analogue addressable fire detectors uses tried and trusted technology to give the best performance and has unique features that benefit the installer and the end user. It is suitable for medium-to-large applications with simple installation requirements. As it operates using digital communication XP95 has a high immunity from corruption and is therefore often preferred in a large system where life safety is critical. XP95 products are frequently used in commercial industrial financial government ITtelecoms and healthcare applications. The new Apollo XP95 EN54-112001 compliant Manual Call Point MCP is based on the KAC conventional MCP range. It is electronically and mechanically backward compatible with previous Apollo call points based on KACs World Series product. The address of each call point is set at the commissioning stage by means of a seven-segment DIL switch.A single bi-coloured alarm LED is provided on the call point. This LED is controlled independently of the call point by the control panel. The red LED is lit when the call point has been activated. An amberyellow LED indicates a fault. Call points can be remotely tested from the panel by transmission of a single bit in the communications protocol. Call points respond by providing a value of 64 which corresponds to the alarm value. The choice of detector from the XP95 range follows well established principles of system design. The optimum detector type will depend on the type of fire riskfire load and the type of environment in which the detector is sited.Key FeaturesA seven-segment DIL switch enables the addressing of each call point at commissioning stageWhen operated the manual call point interrupts the polling cycle for a fast responseBi-coloured LEDs indicate isolate and normal conditions
