Aritech DB992IVAS 990 Series Mounting Base with SounderVisual Indicator and IsolatorThe DB992IVAS sounder beacon base is a multifunctional device comprising of a mounting base for Series 990 fire detectors a sounder a beacon and a short circuit isolator. It is used to provide audible and visual warning of a fire alarm in an enclosed area. The DB992IVAS may be used either with a detector fitted or with a cap for operation as a stand-alone alarm device.Tone and Volume SelectionThe DB992IVAS offers a choice of 15 evacuation and 15 alert tones. Two tones may be selected during installation one for evacuation and one for alert. Volume levels may be selected during commissioning to one of 7 pre-set levels with output ranging from 60 dBA to 90 dBA. The low volume range is useful in areas such as hospitals where the alert is initially intended to warn staff only.During commissioning the sounder volume can be adjusted on location without disassembly or removal. With the CIE in setup mode the commissioning engineer is able to adjust the volume using a magnetic wand. Once all sounders have been adjusted setup mode on the CIE is cancelled and all sounder volume levels are stored in the sounder.Group Addressing and ControlWhen multiple sounderbeacons in an area always need to be activated simultaneously the DB992IVAS group addressing can be stored in each device allowing the CIE to activate the group with a single command.The installation also has free selection from the CIE on use of sounder only beacon only or combined sounderbeacon operation. Aritech ATS1226 Advanced Door DGP for ATS1000 ATS2000 ATS3000 and ATS4000The ATS 1226 Advanced door module in new ATS1647 plastic enclosure is the latest release to complete the DGP family for ATS panels. The module connects all the components found at a door. It has eight freely programmable outputs two are relays terminals for the RS-485-Bus IN and OUT to connect to the control panel as well as an isolated terminal used for the reader. The ATS1226 also has four zone inputs and reduces the amount of products and installation time when a door is integrated in the Advisor system VDS approved.Data Gathering PanelsData Gathering Panels DGP are used to expand the number of alarm inputs on the system and allow inputs and relays to be connected at a location remote from the Advisor panel. DGPs communicate via poll reply messages and send alarms to the control panel for processing. The DGPs collect information from detectors door contacts and other similar devices. There are DGPs available for conventional devices wireless devices as well as for intelligent addressable devices. Special DGPs are available for collecting the information for either doors or lifts Controllers. One special DGP available provides for easy wiring and connecting of all devices related to doors inputs relays readers for use with ATS control panels.System databus connectionThe system databus is used to connect Data Gathering Panels to provide extra zones and Arming Stations to the ATS control panel. Remote devices can be up to 1.5 km from an ATS control panels. Arming stations and Data Gathering Panels must be connected via a 2 pair twisted shielded data cable from the system databus connection. WCAT 52 is recommended. The shield of the data cable should be connected to earth at the ATS control panel andshould be left disconnected at any other end.FunctionalityThe Advanced Door DGP not only offers directly available inputs and outputs for wiring door locks door contacts etc. but also provides for an isolated RS485 bus intended to connect readers located outside protected areas.Should a failure in communications occur the Data Gathering Panel remembers the last alarm in a system helping to identify possible reasons for faults.Up to 15 DGPs or 30 can be connected directly to the Advisor panel.
