The IU2055NC enables the addressable panel to monitor the presence and operation of up to 30 conventional detectors in standard or up to 20 in intrinsically safe configurations.ApplicationThe IU2055NC allows for the upgrade and inclusion of an existing or new conventional fire zone into and addressable detection loop. It supervises the conventional zone circuit for open and short circuits and monitors it for alarm conditions. Any abnormal conditions are reported to the control panel and are indicated on the IU2055NC with a yellow LED. The unit supports alarm verification and CleanMe. It resets by cycling power to the zone circuit as directed by the fire panel.OperationThe IU2055NC is connected to the panel via a two-wire communication loop that provides power and carries control and input data. The module address is easily set with two rotary switches.
