Originally, the cycle was to end with the third part, meaningfully Goodbye Deponia, but following the requests of fans, the creators decided to continue the story. Story The protagonist of Deponia Doomsday is Rufus, the protagonist of the previous games in the series. In the introduction to the game, the protagonist experiences a vision of the destruction of the sky city of Elysium and his native Deponia.
