They can be used on plain shafts allowing the bearing to be placed as required and locked into position. They can also be used on stepped shafts with a seating ring to set the bearing off a shoulder before locking it into place. Adaptor sleeves are re-useable, adjustable, provide positive location and are easy to disassemble. Each Sleeve comes complete with a locking tab washer (type MB) and a lock nut (type KM).
