Fritz Hansen Kaiser Idell 6718 Wall Lamp Easy Grey
The Kaiser Idell lamp series is known for its elegant and timeless design, which derives from the iconic Bauhaus aesthetic. The series is built around the world-patented ball joint from 1930 and the well-known lampshade that is characteristic of Kaiser Idell. The characteristic top of the lamp is adorned with the engraving "ORIGINAL KAISER-idell". All lamps in the series are made of steel and brass, while the shades are lacquered by hand with a high-gloss or mat finish. The chrome-plated parts are made of hand-polished and silver-soldered brass, which ensures exceptional quality and durability. The Kaiser Idell series includes various models, including table lamps, floor lamps, pendants and wall lamps. All models are available in a range of colors and finish options, from high gloss to matte surfaces. Christian Dell (1893-1974) designed the first Kaiser Idell lamps in 1926 and they were officially launched in 1936. One of the most recognized designs from the series is the model 6631 Luxus, which is an excellent example of German design, quality and precision engineering work.
