Pawlonia Tomentosa (Empress Tree) - Standard

Product Description Paulownia Tomentosa, commonly known as the Empress Tree or Princess Tree, is a fast-growing deciduous tree native to central and western China. It is renowned for its large, heart-shaped leaves and striking, fragrant flowers, making it an eye-catching addition to any garden. Dwarf Fernleaf Bamboo (Bambusa Pleioblastus Distichus)

Dwarf Fernleaf Bamboo (Bambusa Pleioblastus Distichus)

A rare and interesting bamboo shrub, it is one of the smallest bamboo plants available. Dwarf Fern Leaf Bamboo has an odd name, because its leaves are not fern-like at all. As you can see in the photos here on GardenPlantsOnline, its green leaves are blade-shaped and appear in symmetrical arrangements, more like tiny palm leaves or a hibiscus plant. Whatever you want to call it though, this a great plant for Japanese rock gardens, patio containers, ground coverage and courtyard-style designs. Bamboo is one of the world’s fastest growing plant-types. Traditionally from Asia, its hardiness means it can actually be grown very easily in Britain – visitors to your garden will be surprised and impressed to see it there. As a forest plant, it appreciates a steady supply of moisture and compost. And as an enthusiastic grower, you should give Bamboo room to expand, we suggest placing infant plants about 100cm apart. Washingtonia Robusta (Mexican Fan Palm / Skyduster) - Extra

Washingtonia Robusta (Mexican Fan Palm / Skyduster) - Extra

There are two main commonly cultivated Washingtonia species: Washingtonia robusta ( Mexican palm, Skyduster, Petticoat Palm) and Washingtonia filifera (California fan palm). Washingtonia filifera differs from W. robusta by width of trunk, erectness of fronds, presence of strings on frond margins, gray-green color, and cold hardiness. The two species can also hybridise. Washingtonia filifera has fan-shaped greyish green fronds 1-2m across whose tips arch down. Its margins are more stringy than Washingtonia robusta. These palm trees look really attractive when old dead fronds are allowed to accumulate against the trunk giving it a shaggy appearance. The inflorescence on stalks extending beyond foliage bears small off-white flowers which produce tiny black berries. The tree is not very hardy at H1C so shelter during normal British winter. The plant itself is prone to potential pests but no diseases. Follow the guide below on how to maintain this plant. The final height is 12m (39ft) and the final width is between 2.5 m – 4 m (8.2 ft – 13.12 ft). Product Dimensions 500 litre pot: height 600-700 cm (19.6 -22.9 ft) Latin Name: Washingtonia Robusta English Name: Mexican Fan Palm, Skyduster Species: Arecaceae Genus: Washingtonia Foliage Type: Evergreen Foliage: Green Flower: White (with brown fruit) Flowering Period: Spring – Summer Suggested Location: Outdoor. Bougainvillea Glabra Sanderiana - Quarter Standard

This flowering plant is loved for its abundant floral display in vivid colours. Common Olive Tree (Olea Europaea) - Standard

Common Olive Tree (Olea Europaea) - Standard

Olea Europaea is increasingly being grown in containers as a Specimen Plant in UK gardens. The attractive evergreen foliage accounts for its popularity as the olive tree retains its pointed leathery grey-green leaves all year round. Tiny scented white flowers appear in late spring often followed later in the year by small, ornamental fruit. For the olive tree fruit to ripen fully, it needs a long, hot summer followed by a cooler winter, though the exact temperatures depend on the specific cultivar. Despite this, some gardeners in milder parts of the UK have managed to grow edible olives from their own olive tree. This plant needs plenty of natural sunlight and it has a hardiness rating of H4, making it very durable in the UK’s climate. Just make sure to shelter the plants during extreme cold snaps. Try to give this plant a once year trim and follow the guidelines of pruning group 1 for further ideas. The plant is generally disease free but has a potential problem with pests.
