Dwarf Greenstripe Bamboo (Bambusa Pleioblastus Viridistriatus Auricoma)

Dwarf Greenstripe Bamboo (Bambusa Pleioblastus Viridistriatus Auricoma)

A beautifully patterned bamboo shrub that will give your garden a tropical quality. The ribbon-like leaves of Dwarf Green Stripe Bamboo are wider than other members of the Pleioblastus family, which is great for showing-off their yellow and green decorations. These colours will become more pronounced if the plant is grown in a sunny location. Not as vigorous as its relatives, it can still be used for ground cover (if you are patient), but it is more at home in containers and rock gardens. Bamboo is one of the world’s fastest growing plant-types. Traditionally from Asia, its hardiness means it can actually be grown very easily in Britain – visitors to your garden will be surprised and impressed to see it there. As a forest plant, it appreciates a steady supply of moisture and compost. And as an enthusiastic grower, you should give Bamboo room to expand, we suggest placing infant plants about 100cm apart. Taxus Baccata (English Yew) Tuscan Style

Taxus Baccata (English Yew) Tuscan Style

An affordable variety of Tuscan Bonsai, with a fantastic appearance that is easy to maintain. Tuscan Cloud Bonsai Trees are a popular choice because of their dense foliage and their ability to change colour based on exposure to the sun. Over time, leaves at the top of its bundles become golden-yellow, where as those lower down retain their dark green colour because of the shade they receive. Tuscan Cloud Bonsai Trees also produce very small flowers and berries during the summer. Specially sculpted over many years to create elegant “statement pieces” for your garden, bonsai plants are always a favourite with visitors thanks to their unusual shape and the dedication involved in growing them. Traditionally described as “unique”, this is no longer entirely true – thanks to patient and persistent growers, like those at GardenPlantsOnline, it is now possible to produce bonsai plants with similar shapes if they are seeded at the same time and grown under the same conditions.
