Transient is a first-person adventure game with horror elements. The action of this production is set in a rather unusual, dystopian universe, combining cyberpunk convention with motifs inspired by the dark prose of H.P. Lovecraft. Developers from Stormling Studios, formerly known as Zoetrope Interactive, are responsible for creating the title (the creators have a Conarium and the Darkness Within series on their account). The publisher is Iceberg Interactive. The action of the game takes place in a distant, post-apocalyptic future. The remnants of mankind take refuge in the citadel known as Doomed City Providence. The player takes on the role of a hacker Randolph Carter, who accidentally comes across a terrifying secret that can completely change his approach to the world, and even lead him to the path of madness. In Transient we observe the action from the protagonist's eyes (FPP perspective). The gameplay consists mainly in exploring the location and gradually discovering the plot. Additionally, we can search for various secrets and easter eggs scattered around locations. An interesting idea, which can be found in the production of Stormling Studios, is the possibility of traveling between the real world and artificially created places. Importantly, the line between the two can be extremely fluid. It is not always easy to tell where real reality begins.
